To meet the general admission requirements at Mizzou, you must:
- Have at least a 2.5 cumulative college GPA
- Meet the freshman admission requirements* OR
- Have at least 24 college credits, including one of the following courses:
- a transferable math course (intermediate algebra or higher) with at least a C- grade
- a transferable English composition course (English comp 1 or higher) with at least a C- grade
Admission to Mizzou does not guarantee admission into a specific degree program.
*Transfer students are not eligible for test-optional admission.

Send in your high school and college transcripts
After you complete your application, request that your final official high school transcript showing your graduation date (if you have less than 24 hours of college credit) and official transcripts of any college coursework from any college you attended be sent directly to the Office of Admissions via electronic exchange or direct mail.
If you have less than 24 completed credits at the time of your application, have your ACT or SAT scores sent to the Office of Admissions.
Your application will be evaluated once all official transcripts are received. If you are applying for a future term, your application will be evaluated once we have your grades through the same term of the prior year (if you’re applying for the fall term, we will need your final grades from the fall term of the previous academic year).
Explore your financial aid options
Mizzou offers multiple forms of financial aid, including scholarships, loans and grants. Several scholarships are offered specifically to transfer students. Transfer students can apply for MU scholarships by logging into ScholarshipUniverse. You must apply to Mizzou before you can access ScholarshipUniverse. .

Once you’ve submitted your application and transcripts, visit the application status page to view your admission status, pay your enrollment fee, and schedule your orientation.
